String Quartets...

The Astor String Quartet is an all-girl string quartet with many years experience playing at weddings, product launches and corporate functions. They comprise four professional musicians, trained at The Royal College of Music and The Royal Academy of Music. Individual members have played for London orchestras and West End shows, made television appearances and given radio broadcasts.

They have performed for many prestigious clients including BMW, British Airways, EMI, Hoverspeed, Jane Seymour, The Lord Mayor of London and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Prices start at £700 + VAT.

The Finishing Touch are highly experienced and have performed together for seventeen years in a wide variety of different styles, both in the formal setting of the concert hall as well as providing quality background music for weddings and other functions. Additionally, they have been sponsored to play for companies (such as BMW), the stars (such as Esther Rantzen) and at the Henley Regatta.

The quartet is extremely versatile and equally at home with popular classics, light ballads, jazz and film themes, the majority of which have been arranged by their cellist. Special requests for specific pieces are always welcomed.

They work primarily in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire but are more than happy to travel further afield.

Guest artists regularly join the quartet, extending the possible repertoire to include works with piano, clarinet and/or flute.
